Privacy Policy

Account data: your email address, the display name you choose, and your password — stored only as a salted Argon2id hash, so we never keep or see your actual password.

Test data: your answers, scores and results for the tests you take, linked to your account.

Security data: to protect the service we keep a limited log of sign-in events, including the IP address and browser identifier involved.

Cookies: functional cookies — one that keeps you signed in, plus cookies that remember your chosen theme and language. For traffic statistics we use Yandex Metrica, which sets its own analytics cookies and collects anonymised usage data (including Webvisor session replay). We do not use advertising cookies.

Anonymized statistics: when any test is completed, we keep a record of the test type, the resulting score and the date — with no link to your account, name or IP address — to build population statistics such as score distributions and percentiles. Because these records are anonymous, they cannot be traced back to you.

To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.

To run the tests, score them, and show you your results and history.

To display your name and best score on the public IQ leaderboard — only if you opt in, and you can turn this off at any time.

To protect the service against abuse, fraud and unauthorised access.

Where the EU GDPR applies, we rely on the performance of our agreement with you, your consent (for example, leaderboard display), and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. Where Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ applies, we process your data based on your consent and to provide the service you request.

The IQ test has an optional public leaderboard. Your display name and best IQ score appear there only if you opt in. You can hide yourself from the leaderboard at any time in your account settings — your result stays saved privately in your account either way.

We send service emails — such as email verification and password reset — through a third-party email provider acting on our behalf. We do not send marketing email unless you separately ask for it. Messages you send to our support or privacy addresses are forwarded to the operator's mailbox so we can reply.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We share data only with the providers that operate the platform on our behalf — currently our email-delivery provider, our hosting, and our web-analytics provider (Yandex Metrica) — and only as needed to run the service, or where the law requires it.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, test attempts, answers, results and any leaderboard entry are permanently removed. Security-log entries are kept only as long as needed for security. Anonymized statistics (see “Data we collect”) are not linked to your account, so they are retained in aggregate and are unaffected by account deletion.

You can access and export your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time from your account settings. You can withdraw a consent you gave (such as leaderboard display) and, where the law grants it, object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any right, use your account settings or email privacy@livoriq.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.

Passwords are hashed with Argon2id, sessions are stored on the server and can be revoked, and the site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

The service is operated from, and your data is stored in, the Russian Federation. If you use LIVORIQ from another country, your data is processed there. Our email provider processes only the minimum data needed to deliver a message to you.

LIVORIQ is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will update the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
